Material and packaging storage in China

Buyer problem

Why this service needs control

Some products depend on buyer-owned packaging, labels, branded parts, special components, fabric, accessories, molds, samples, reference goods or production materials.

!If every supplier manages these items separately, materials can be lost, mixed, damaged, used incorrectly, overused, forgotten or held by the wrong factory.
!Repeat orders become harder when packaging, labels or components must be reordered each time because no one controls remaining stock in China.
!Without a China-side storage process, the buyer may not know what arrived, what was used, what remains and which supplier received which materials.
!Private-label and packaging-sensitive orders often need controlled release of labels, cartons, inserts, barcodes, tags or branded accessories so the wrong supplier does not receive the wrong item.
!Stored materials can affect production, QC and shipment timing. If labels, packaging or components are missing or unclear, the supplier may delay production or use a substitute without proper buyer approval.

Limits and trust

What we control and what must be checked

Material storage is not unlimited storage and not a public warehouse service for any cargo. Scope, period, volume and handling rules must be agreed before receiving goods.

iStandard storage does not include insurance, temperature control, hazardous goods handling, customs bonded storage, regulated-goods compliance or high-value inventory protection unless separately arranged.
iReceiving notes are based on visible carton count, marks and basic condition; detailed product, material or functional inspection requires separate QC or lab testing.
iStored items must be clearly labeled and linked to a buyer, project, supplier or order to reduce the risk of mix-ups.
iStorage works best for controlled production support, repeat orders, sample references, packaging, labels and components — not for vague long-term inventory without a release plan.
iBuyer-owned materials should be documented before release to suppliers, especially branded packaging, labels, molds, private-label parts or items connected with product development.
FAQ

Common questions

What can be stored in China?

Common examples include packaging, labels, branded parts, components, samples, reference goods, molds, accessories or materials used for production, product development or repeat orders.

Is this a long-term warehouse service?

It depends on volume, storage period and handling requirements. Storage must be agreed in advance and is not unlimited by default.

Can you release materials to different factories?

Yes, if the materials are clearly marked and the release plan is agreed. We can coordinate handover to suppliers, factories, sample makers or warehouse workflows.

Do you inspect the stored materials?

Basic receiving can record visible carton count, marks and condition. Detailed material, product or quality inspection requires separate QC or lab testing.

What information do you need before storage?

Send item type, quantity, carton count, photos, marks, storage period, supplier or project link, handling requirements and release plan.

Can this support repeat orders?

Yes. Storage is useful when packaging, labels, reference samples, branded parts or components need to remain in China for repeat production or supplier handover.
